More fun with Knoppix...

OK, so I ordered the Knoppix 5.0 DVD. Only $5.24. Big Mistake. Very Big Mistake. Very Buggy. Wouldn't connect to the Internet at all. But, still I got to try a Knoppix DVD distro without having to shell out $80.00 for a DVD Burner.

Afterward, I noticed in the cheat codes for the Knoppix 4.0.2 CD (which does work), and one of them was knoppix bootfrom=/dev//knx.iso, whick basically says to look for the .iso image on your hard drive, and then boot off of that. So I downloaded the dvd .iso, made a note of it's location, and it works. Also, since the image is actually running off the hard drive, performance is significantly speeded up, as you don't have to use the CD-Rom (which even in a 56x drive, still has a slower seek time than your hard drive). This also give you the added advantage of freeing up your Cd drive, too. Ramen.
