Just had a crash course about Bluetooth. The Anti-Christ has a Bluetooth stack built into Windows XP. Which my BlackBerry software will pick up and I can sync my phone with my computer wirelessly. Slight drawback, though. The MS Bruetooth stack does support audio. The Widcomm stack (that actually comes with my Bluetooth dongle’s driver does). In fact, it supports stereo Bluetooth, so I can use my stereo headphones when I don’t want to trip over a cord, or continue listening to WMP while a take a leak. The drawback, however is that the CrackBerry desktop software won’t pick up your BlackBerry’s Bluetooth connection. A choice has to be made….
And ultimately, I choose to go with the Widcomm stack. While it seems nifty to be able to sync up my BlackBerry wirelessly, I’m inevitably am going to be sitting at my computer when I do it (I’ll still have to manually open the software on my computer anyway), and so I’ll just plug in the USB cable. And enjoy the wireless headphones, which can be paired with both my computer and my phone…
