Hawks vs. Vikings

It's the SeaHawks vs. the Vikings tonight. I think the Hawks will be the ones raping and pillaging tonight. And having a senior citizen on the team isn't going to help Minnesota... Anyway, the NFL had insituted s couple of rule changes with Favre coming back fir one more season: The Vikings will be allowed an extra center. One will snap the ball. and one will hand Brett his walker. Knocking Favre's dentures out will be sufficient to tackle him. If Brett gets lost, the nearest player id required to point him to the goal line. And finally: Geritol is now a banned performance enhancing substance... But this is all moot. done I have to work, and will miss it...

So I'm watching some pre-season football

Right now, its Minnesota vs. St. Louis. The best football I've seen through the years I'll admit has come from the preseason games. There's nothing like playing for your job to motivate you to perform. In the past, I've thought Seattle was The Team to beat. And than the regular would come along, and I would be disappointed when the season started. But I'm excited for the Hawks under Pete Carroll this year. And perhaps there's even hope for the Lions to even maul Christians this year...

Hey Igwanarob!

The Energy ROMS run a lot better on the Leo than the Rhodium... Perhaps something to do with the fact that it's what Energy uses himself. BTW, did I mention that I have an HD2 now?

Leo vs. Rhodium

My boss got an HD2 a few months back, and promptly went back to his jsilbroken iPhone. He then put his phone up for sale. Yesterday, the price came down to something I could afford, so I took him up on it. It had a few pluses over the Rhodium. First, the speed: I've a full blown tower at home that's slower than this (although my Touch Pro is also faster than it as well, but you get the point...). Second, there's the memory: your apps will run faster if you don't have to install them to your memory card... Then there's the multi-touch screen, the more advanced Android development, the 800 x 600 display...

But a tiny part of me misses the stylus and the physical keyboard, but I can deal with that...

So Long, Don

Don Wakamatsu just got shit-canned today. The Mariners still suck. The Sounders FC, on the other hand, have clawed their way back to .500. Are you giving it your full 90?

The next sacrificial lamb in Seattle is Daren Brown, who comes to from AAA Tacoma, which unlike it’s affiliate up north can actually win games. Let’s hope he can bring that experience to the laughing stock of The New World Order (Mind-Control Division)… Who am I kidding? The Mariners suck. Your career is now officially over, Daren…

It’s back

Training camp started Saturday. I’m personally curious to see of the Seahawks can be better than they were last year, though that shouldn’t take too much effort.

Due to a new person at the day-job, and an ensuing change in my schedule, I won’t have to work sunup'\sundown every sunday. Which means hopefully I can get home for the Sunday Night game now (which is the Marquis NFL game now). I’ll still have Mondays off, so I can also watch the Monday Night game as well…

Go Hawks. Though I hear the Detroit Lions were actually able to finally maul a Christian the other day. There could be hope for them as well…

MySpace mating calls…

Back when MySpace was still just barely relevant, I created a MySpace page. I updated it almost daily. Then, a few weeks later, I realized Facebook was where it was at, at that’s where I do my Social networking now.

But since my MySpace page is open to the public (just like this blog), I’ve noticed on occasion, I’ll get messages from total strangers (all of them from the female persuasion).  And they’re seeking to be more than friends. And they’re all out of state. I know better than to reply to them or to even acknowledge that I’ve read their messages. Besides, most of them are from the other side of the country (though I also take what I see in the profiles with a grain of salt. This is the same Internet that would have me beleiving that Belgium really exists, and Elvis is dead…).

It never fails. I logon to MySpace, and I get a mating call. Don’t waste your breath. I’m not a fool.
