I don't think this time is any different from the other 3 times they killed off the Captain. Heck, he's nothing more than a Super-Soldier anyway, it's not like the man behind the uniform made the character (as opposed to someone like Batman, who's very character depends on the man under the mask).
(and you know the character will be back in time to mimic the original incarnation and take down Bin Laden in place of Hitler)
